Geeta Bali and Shammi kapoor fall in love during early 50s and got secretly married. Geeta Bali was so much in love with Shammi ji that she started a lot of time with him not only at Home but on the sets of films he was working in.. During one Kidar Sharma film, the entire crew had to go out of Mumbai for long.. Geeta ji requested Kidar Sharma to give her a role in the film, but Kidar had already finalized all the cast of the film (Mala Sinha opposite Shammi Kapoor) so denied her any possibility… yet she persisted.. Kidar ji told Geeta that Sorry I dont have any female character left, but I have a scope of male character.. Geet ji told him, I am rready to play a Male character.. So Geeta ji played a Male Character cameo in Rangeen Raate.n ( not a female in male disguise but actually a Male character, a comic shehari babu) and the film had a song even picturised on him (Geeta Ji ) and Mala Sinha..
