* ‘Mujhe Dekh Chand Sharmaye’  sung by  Lata Mangeshkar ,from the film Samrat Chandragupta. was wriiten by nirupa roy (the actress). This was the only known song that she wrote. It is a mystery why she did not write any more songs considering this was a great hit.

*The tune for this song (ghar-aaja-ghir-aaye-badra) was composed by R. D. Burman for the movie “Raaz” which was not released.
